Dedicated Micros HyperSense License Plate Capture Security Cameras are optimized and specifically developed to capture and record vehicle license plates day or night and in adverse lighting conditions.
Available now in analog versions with IP models are also on the horizon. Dedicated Micros’ unique HyperSense technology removes all unnecessary detail from a scene, including ambient light, leaving only Crisp clear imaging of the License Plate. Completely eliminating glare from vehicle headlights and providing a crisp image, Dedicated Micros HyperSense License Plate Capture cameras speed up license plate character computation and increase read accuracy on License Plate Recognition Systems. Ideal for deployment in a range of applications including toll booths and parking facility control, the series includes License Plate Capture cameras designed to capture only the plate detail of passing vehicles, and combined License Plate Capture/Overview cameras that associate color images of the vehicles with their license plates.

Dedicated Micros Hypersense LPR Camera PR-1850DN PR-1850N

The Dedicated Micros HyperSense License Plate Capture LPR Cameras deliver unique flexibility with a 18-50mm Varifocal Lens and effective IR illumination of 65ft. The Dedicated Micros LPR Cameras deliver sharp imaging with 480tvl for the LPR Camera version PR-1850N and the combined version PR-1850DN with integrated 540tvl Overview Camera. Constructed in a extruded aluminum housing with weatherproof ratings of IP66 and cable feed through mount the cameras easily operate in a wide range of environments including temperatures from 14° to +122°F (-10° to 50°C).

HyperSense Technology
Dedicated Micros’ unique HyperSense Technology was introduced
for the first time in the new Dedicted Micros License Plate capture security cameras which are optimized to capture and record vehicle license plates. Dedicated Micros’ HyperSense Technology rejects ambient light from any scene leaving only the objects that strongly reflect the IR light emitted by the integrated IR LED array. This makes HyperSense ideal for analytics and License Plate Recogintion applications where retroflective backgrounds on license plates will offer a high contrast between license plate numbers & letters and the plate background.

Analog or IP

Dedicated Micros’ License Plate Capture cameras are available in both analog and IP formats, providing you with the best available installation options. Choosing an analog HyperSense License Plate Capture camera allows you to install with existing coax cable infrastructure. The license plate analytics processing is addressed by the Analytics Capable DVR or video server using Dedicated Micros analytics software (available via a software license) or third party License Plate Recognition Software.
The IP version allows processing to be conducted at the edge, freeing the DVR or video server from conducting the additional processing and is available for use via a Dedicated Micros Software License in addition to the LPR IP Camera. With Dedicated Micros’ NetVu Connected Technology, either of these options can be seamlessly installed into an existing Dedicated Micros NetVu Connected video surveillance system solution without the need to re-design or re-build.
